About Us

We are a charitable, non-political, non-denominational, locally funded organization formed to help all persons who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Our goal is to help each woman understand her pregnancy options, make an informed choice, and provide encouragement and support through education, counseling and aid.

She gets so much joy from working at the Pregnancy Care Center and having an opportunity to work alongside so many wonderful clients and volunteers. When not working Laura enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and enjoying all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

She has a 16 year old son David who horseback rides, 2 older brothers (along with 2 wonderful sister-in-laws!) and 3 cats, Tazzy, Calvin and Autumn. She received her Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Lake Superior State University. Amy is a diehard Wolverines fan and can be found supporting them all year round usually wearing something that is blue and yellow. Amy's favorite aspects of working at the P.C.C. are the clients, the volunteers, as well as our center babies who she is purposefully indoctrinating with "Michigan pride."
